Minus5 Ice Bar unveils its fourth permanent U.S. location in Orlando
(Orlando, Fla.) – May 7, 2014 / PRNewswire / — Minus5 Ice Bar, which opened America’s first ice bar at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas (September 2008) has opened its newest location at Pointe Orlando (9101 International Drive). The new Minus5 Ice Bar includes all the frozen beauty of the originals where everything is made of 100% ice including the bar, statues, tables, benches, walls and even the glasses guests drink from.
“We are so excited to be in Orlando and can’t wait to start meeting the locals, tourists and conventioneers that visit Pointe Orlando each year,” said Minus5 President Noel Bowman. “This is really a beautiful venue and a great space for corporate functions. Minus5 Ice Bars are designed to reflect the personality of the city where they operate. In Vegas, the décor features iconic carvings such as the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, in New York City there is a “Lady Liberty” and Orlando has taken this a step further by including a variety of iconic Florida images including hand-carved palm trees, penguins, space shuttles and a wall that features a variety of frozen sea creatures.
