Iconic global restaurant celebrates St. Paddy’s Day with a special menu from March 15 – 21.

Tony Roma’s, known for its iconic American cuisine and world famous ribs, is going Irish this St. Paddy’s Day with a special menu from March 15-21. To celebrate the occasion, participating restaurants will be offering two new dishes that will make Irish eyes smile.

“Tony Roma’s has always been a place to gather with family and friends, so we’re inviting our guests to embrace the wearing of green and enjoy the spirit of St. Paddy’s Day, not just on March 17, but all week long,” said Jim Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer for Romacorp, Inc., parent company of Tony Roma’s. “We hope our guests indulge in our special menu, and leave satisfied with big smiles on their faces, like they’ve been touched by the luck of the Irish.”

The key ingredient on the St. Paddy’s Day menu is Guinness, a traditional Irish stout. Tony Roma’s combines the dark, malty beer with sweet and savory flavors to create Tony Roma’s Guinness BBQ sauce. This sauce smothers the Tony Roma’s Irish Baby Back Ribs, and is served with a side of mustard coleslaw to create a lip-smacking entrée. The Guinness BBQ sauce is also the perfect flavor to create the Irish Burger, which is topped with caramelized onions, peppered bacon and cheddar cheese. Both menu items come with a side of crispy potato skins piled high with cheese, bacon and chives.

“We took two of our classic dishes and added a bit of Irish-flare, using Guinness for richness,” said Chef Bob Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Purchasing and Culinary for Romacorp, Inc. “Top it all off with an ice-cold Guinness to drink, and our guests just might feel like they’ve traveled to Ireland.”
