MB Sports Camps, proud member of the US Sports Camps and Nike Sports Camps family, announced that they hired Michael Fairley to be the Head Coach of the Nike Ultimate Camp at University of Central Florida, which is entering its second year in 2016.
Michael brings with him a wealth of experience. He currently captains the UCF Dogs of War, a top 10 national team, where he began as a freshman starting on the offensive line. He finished his first College Nationals with 16 goals, finishing at T-4 in the tournament. Summer after his freshman year, Fairley played for Florida United, Florida’s Premiere Open Club Ultimate team, and the nest year for UCF again, finishing T-3 at Nationals. This past summer, Michael competed with Atlanta’s Chain Lightning, an elite-level men’s ultimate Frisbee™ club team, and finished 5th at Regionals.
“We are thrilled to have Michael Fairley onboard as Head Coach at the UCF camp this year ,” says Siera Levenson, National Manager of Nike Ultimate Camps. “Our 2015 UCF campers had a great time, so it is wonderful that we can bring the camp back again this summer. Michael came highly recommended from Andrew Roca, last year’s Head Coach, so campers are in for a real treat!”
The Nike Ultimate Camp at University of Central Florida is a program for boys and girls of all skill and ability levels, ages 10-18. The summer camp in Orlando, Florida runs from June 13-17, and offers Overnight and Day (9:00am – 5:00pm) camp options. An exciting part about this youth ultimate camp is that MB Sports Camps runs other sports camps at UCF at the same time, allowing ultimate campers to reside in the same dorms as other MB Sports Camps campers and participate in additional activities as a group.
