On Sunday, June 19, fathers receive free admission to Harry P. Leu Gardens.
Take the opportunity to enjoy the sights (and smells!) of the City of Orlando’s largest garden with your dad, no matter your age. Children can play with dad along the walkways and in the grass, while adults can enjoy the views and take some time with their fathers to catch up.
Leu Gardens is never the same. As the seasons change and new plants bloom, you can expect to see something you haven’t before. Visiting the gardens is a great way to get away, relax and reflect. Florida’s diverse eco-systems are showcased throughout 12 different gardens.
With more than 12,000 plants, the garden has plenty for the eye. Within Leu Gardens you will find Florida’s largest rose garden, which is in bloom this season. The Leu House Museum, located in the heart of the gardens, reveals turn-of-the-century living for those who once called the building home. Take dad to see the Idea Garden and he might spark up one of his own.
