As part of the City of Orlando’s continued efforts to provide the highest level of service to our customers, we have engaged KPMG to conduct a performance study of the City’s development service and permitting functions. As part of the performance study, KPMG facilitated two Permitting and Development Forum sessions on Thursday, June 1, 2017, in City Council Chambers to obtain stakeholder input. In this forum, customers who frequently utilize our permitting and development services – contractors, residents, permit runners, subcontractors, developers, engineers and architects – were invited to offer their feedback, experience and suggestions to help improve these services in the City of Orlando.
