Veterans Day Parade
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and his Veterans Advisory Council will host the 19th annual City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. to honor the courageous men and women of the armed forces who have fought for our nation’s freedoms.
The parade will feature marching bands, ROTC units, active duty military, decorative floats and veterans groups from all military branches representing a wide variety of conflicts.
This year’s theme is honoring Purple Heart recipients and their families.
Parade Route
The parade begins at the corner of Robinson Street and Orange Avenue, traveling south along Orange Avenue to Central Boulevard, heading east to Rosalind Avenue, and ending at the corner of Rosalind Avenue and Robinson Street.
Transportation and Parking Information
Several streets in Downtown Orlando will be closed for the parade. View the Street Closure Map.
Orange Avenue from Concord Street to Robinson Street, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Orange Avenue from Robinson Street to Central Boulevard, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Concord Street from Garland Avenue to Orange Avenue, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Amelia Street from Garland Avenue to N Magnolia Avenue, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Livingston Street from Garland Avenue to N Magnolia Avenue, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Robinson Street from State Lane to Broadway Avenue, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Central Boulevard from Orange Avenue to Rosalind Avenue, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Rosalind Avenue from Central Boulevard to Robinson Street, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to use alternative methods of transportation when possible, including walking, cycling, ride share services, and carpooling. Downtown residents and those parking at garages other than the Central Garage (53 W Central Boulevard) are encouraged to use the free LYMMO circulator.
