ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 24, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Orange County, Florida property owners will receive Truth-In-Millage (TRIM) notices this week. These letters, going to every property owner in Orange County, will detail approximate valuations for their property, as well as proposed taxes specified by jurisdiction.
To make it easier for residents to ask questions about the TRIM notices, OCPA will operate a series of Temporary Satellite Offices across the county. Running Monday through Friday from August 24 – September 21, residents will be able to meet with expert OCPA staff, without having to travel to the downtown Orlando office. For times, dates, and locations, visit our website, www.OCPAFL.org.
On September 17, 2015, Rick Singh, CFA, will host the “2015 State of West Orange County Real Estate” at West Orange High School. Similar to this year’s “State of I-Drive,” this event will feature a panel of experts, including Orange County Public Schools’ District Demographer Tom Moore, Owner and President of Boyd Development Corp. Scott Boyd, Founder of Windermere Medical Center Dr. Niral Patel, President & Broker of Tavistock Group Mark Hayes, and Co-CEO of FBC Mortgage Joe Nunziata.
They will be discussing the impact of Orange County’s significant growth on the region, and answer questions regarding what the future will hold. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public. For event information, visit our website, www.OCPAFL.org.
